What happened at RPCh and HOPR last week? 👀
Tl;dr
🟡 Early last week, we released our how-to-crack-the-code guide for solving the Mini 24-Hour Hackathon…
🟡 … so that you were ready to participate in our hack-a-node games! 🎉
🟡 April fools joke gone right! In less than 24 hours, the games were over due to the many people playing. 🤯
🟡 We published the first DevUpdate for RPCh! Head over to our Twitter profile and give as a follow to stay up to date! 🔥
🟡 We covered the last big upcoming milestone for RPCh. 👇
🟡 We released our Interview with @GetBlockWallet in which we discussed the state of web3 privacy and the integration of RPCh within BlockWallet.🚀
🟡 Do you wanna see RPCh integrated into your favourite wallet? Why not do it yourself? 👀

It’s time for your triweekly HOPR DevUpdate
Let’s see what our devs have been up to these last three weeks!
🟡 Starting with the release of Monte Rosa v1.93.0, which is now in its second phase of internal testing. This is the last release before we go big on our next release, with several breaking changes.
github.com/hoprnet/hoprnet/issues/4704
🟡 Next, our Rust migration hits several key milestones as we move our:
👉 Server-side relay code
github.com/hoprnet/hoprnet/pull/4726
👉 Basic cryptography and primitive related types
github.com/hoprnet/hoprnet/pull/4645
👉 Heartbeat & network mapping
github.com/hoprnet/hoprnet/pull/4658
github.com/hoprnet/hoprnet/pull/4738
github.com/hoprnet/hoprnet/pull/4748
🟡 As prep for upcoming topology-related features, we’ve introduced version information into our ping sub-protocol & introduced the “fullTopology” parameter to our “channels” API endpoint
github.com/hoprnet/hoprnet/pull/4828
github.com/hoprnet/hoprnet/pull/4777
github.com/hoprnet/hoprnet/pull/4756
🟡 Our high-level hoped tests have been moved from their original bash implementation into a proper testing framework ✅
github.com/hoprnet/hoprnet/pull/4655
github.com/hoprnet/hoprnet/pull/4771
github.com/hoprnet/hoprnet/pull/4817
🟡 We’ve improved the developer experience by:
👉 Adding the new mixer metrics into our Grafana dashboards
👉 Adding our local development setup to our docker-compose configuration
🟡 And as always, we finished off the sprint with an array of improvements and code fixes:
1️⃣ Fix the possibility of integer overflow in core-strategy and allow a configurable number of maximum channels
2️⃣ Smoothen the number of peers in the promiscuous strategy with simple moving averages
3️⃣ Allow you to independently update capabilities for a token…
4️⃣ … and enhance privacy metrics
5️⃣ Improve the hopli faucet command to send more granular token amounts
6️⃣ Optimize the connection setup by pre-querying relays
7️⃣ Introduce fixes to several docker build issues

When you’re planning to address privacy concerns that aren’t even on other project’s radars 👀
You know you’re truly ahead of the curve 😎
A quick look at the RPCh roadmap 📍
RPCh Beta will add decentralization to the ecosystem by allowing all registered HOPR node runners to function as RPCh entry & exit nodes
Each node will also be assigned a reliability score that the SDK will manage
