🟡I have been selected as a participant for the Monte Rosa release, how do I get started?
First of all, thank you for your support! As an eligible participant, you should already have received a Network Registry NFT (NR NFT) to your staking wallet address.
Follow these steps:
- Check you have received the NR NFT on staking UI: If not, please ask for support in Telegram or Discord
- Lock your NR NFT like any other HOPR Boost NFT
- Install the Monte Rosa release
- Start your node and get your node's peerID
- Register your peer ID on the Network Registry smart contract
- After successful registration, please fund your node.

🟡How do I set up my node?
First decide which device you want to setup your node on. Then visit the appropriate link:

🟡Do I need to fund my node myself?
Yes. You will have received some xDai and mHOPR tokens on Gnosis chain to your staking wallet address when you received your NR NFT. After successfully registering your node in the Network Registry smart contract, you will need to fund your node.
To send mHOPR from your MM wallet you will need to import token into metamask: 0x66225dE86Cac02b32f34992eb3410F59DE416698
🟡How do I check that my node has been added to the Network Registry?
- Go to the Network Registry smart contract:
- Find row 4. isNodeRegisteredAndEligible, enter your node's peerID and click Query. If you see the response true, you can continue by funding your node. If you see the response false, please reach out to the moderators.
🟡My node has started, what should I do?

For peerID to appear on the network dashboard, we recommend to:
- open payment channel with the other node
- try to ping our pingbot nodes:

🟡Does Monte Rosa release have incentives?
Of course! We will be giving out Monte Rosa NFTs for participating. Nodes will be scored based on uptime and at the end of the initial release rewards will be distributed as follows:
- Top 25% receive a diamond NFT
- 25-50% receive a gold NFT
- 50-75% receive a silver NFT
- Bottom 25% receive a bronze NFT

Please run through the following checklist:
Run the info command
- Does NetworkRegistry Eligibility show true?
- Is Connectivity Status yellow or green?
Run the peers command or click the HOPR logo in the top right
- Can you see more than one peer?
- Can you ping the peers in the list?
🟡Can I run more than one node with a given com NFT?
During strict network limits, you are allowed to run only one node.
