Dear privacy enthusiasts! Big changes for HOPR Staking Season 6, including a brand new type of node-running reward! 🔥💰 HOPR’s sixth staking season begins on January 26th. ⏳ The focus this season is on node running. So if you haven’t got your access NFT yet, make sure to join the waitlist: Now that the network is stable and scalable, it’s time to transition towards the HOPR incentive endgame, when 100% of rewards come from the HOPR protocol. 🚀 The first step is our new extra rewards for Season 6, which will use a budgeted system rather than the APR of the rest of the staking program. Instead of NFTs, node runners will earn xHOPR tokens sent directly to your staking account. 💸 Every two weeks, we’ll pick a new metric or metrics to measure. 🎯 When the reward period ends, the token budget will be automatically and proportionally divided between all participating nodes based on performance. 📊 We’ll be making further updates to and so you can easily track your new rewards. 👏 Stake doesn’t matter here (except as a way to get network access in the first place) rewards are solely based on your node performance each period. 🚀 This is a brand-new reward mechanism, but the rest of the staking program isn’t going away. ⛔️ Season 6 will still have a base APR and HOPR boost NFTs as usual.
