Dear community, We’ve exciting news! 🚨 Monte Rosa 1.1 is here 🚨 This new release comes off a 3-month effort focused on improving network stability and community insight. Here’s everything you need to know about Monte Rosa 1.1: 🟡 As our network continues to scale, it’s important that we increase the availability of tools and materials that you, our community, can use for troubleshooting, analysing and monitoring their nodes. Currently, the Grafana dashboards are only accessible to Dappnode users. In the coming weeks, we’ll push this to the Docker/Avado setups, but for now, it was implemented on Dappnode first due to the ease of integration provided by the native DMS (Dappnode Monitoring System) package. 🟡 We not only worked on the backend to create a more stable and functional network but also on two visible connectivity features: 👉 Implementation of a graphical health indicator 👉 Remodelling of the API command outputs, giving more detailed and standardised responses 🟡 Let’s talk Network Registry and waitlist. The Network Registry was introduced in the initial Monte Rosa release as a utility for the guarded and incremental scaling of the network. While we don’t believe that the HOPR network should be permissioned, it is a necessary tool for the initial scaling of the network. BUT as the network has remained so stable, we’ve decided to increase the scaling rate to fifteen new users every Monday! 🎉 If you haven’t joined the waitlist, use this form: forms.gle/LjhH1mk7n8C1RBQw9 🟡 As announced last week, we’re taking a significant step in transitioning to the type of incentivisation scheme which can power the permissionless HOPR network with the launch of staking season 6. One more reason to join the waitlist: forms.gle/LjhH1mk7n8C1RBQw9 As always, we’ve compiled all necessary information for the new release in one blog. 📕 medium.com/hoprnet/monte-rosa-1-1-public-release-90fa98fa6b08
