As part of the second HOPR governance experiment, 27,000 DAI were allocated to HOPR node runners and HODLrs (13,500 DAI in each category). It’s now time to distribute those rewards! 🤑

The first 100 node runners in the HOPR network are each eligible to receive 135 DAI. The rest will be split between the next 300 positions on the HOPR waitlist (at the time when the network reached 100 nodes).
We have used the data from https://hopr.network.org, the network registry smart contract and the network registry waitlist to compile a list of 400 addresses.

To make sure we don’t send tokens to dead addresses, we’re asking everyone to sign with their wallets via Snapshot.

There is only one option, and only addresses on the list will be able to vote. Each has a vote power of 1.
The proposal will stay open for two weeks, after which we’ll distribute to all signers, so please be patient 😇
If there are any unclaimed rewards after two weeks, a new proposal will be created which will pay out after a month. We’ll repeat this for six months, at which time unclaimed rewards will be returned to the community treasury.
